THE BIBLE

THE TRINITY
There is one God, existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Matthew 3:16-17
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus is the son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for mankind, and rose from the dead on the third day. He has ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return again in power and glory. 1 Timothy 3:16
REDEMPTION
Mans only hope of redemption is in Christ Jesus. Romans 5:12-21
SALVATION
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, not a result of our good works. Ephesians 2:8-9
JESUS DWELLS IN ALL BELIEVERS
We relinquish the authority of our lives over to Jesus making Him Lord over our lives. Colossians 1:27
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Given at Pentecost, the promise of Father, sent by Jesus, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth. Acts 1:8
THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Spirit is manifested through a variety of gifts to build the church and confirm the power of the Gospel. Hebrews 2:4
THE CHURCH
The church is the Body of Christ. Every person who has put their trust in Christ in an integral part of the church. Ephesians 1:22
WATER BAPTISM
Following the example of Jesus, the believer is commanded by the Word of God to be baptized in water. Matthew 28:19
THE LORD’S SUPPER
Communion in the presence of God when the elements of bread and grape juice are taken in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice on the Cross. 1 Corinthians 11:23-25
MARRIAGE
We believe marriage in defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman. Matthew 19:4-6
HEALING OF THE SICK
Illustrated through the life of Jesus and included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. Matthew 18:16-17
