6 Qualities of an Unstoppable Church

Matthew 16:17-18 (ESV)

17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock[a] I will build my church, and the gates of hell[b] shall not prevail against it.

Here Are 6 Qualities Of A Unstoppable Church…

1. AUTHENTIC.

1 Corinthians 12:18-20 (ERV)

18-19 If each part of the body were the same part, there would be no body. But as it is, God put the parts in the body as he wanted them. He made a place for each one. 20 So there are many parts, but only one body.

1 Corinthians 12:27 (ERV)

27 All of you together are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of that body.

2. RELEVANT.

1 Corinthians 9:22-23 (NLT)

22 When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some. 23 I do everything to spread the Good News and share in its blessings.

3. ENJOYABLE.

John 10:10 (AMP)

10 The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].

Psalm 122:1 (NKJV)

The Joy of Going to the House of the Lord

A Song of Ascents. Of David.

122 I was glad when they said to me,
“Let us go into the house of the Lord.”

4. ACCEPTING.

Romans 5:8 (NIV)

8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Mark 2:16-17 (TLB)

16 But when some of the Jewish religious leaders[a] saw him eating with these men of ill repute, they said to his disciples, “How can he stand it, to eat with such scum?”

17 When Jesus heard what they were saying, he told them, “Sick people need the doctor, not healthy ones! I haven’t come to tell good people to repent, but the bad ones.”

5. INSPIRATIONAL.

Hebrews 4:12 (NLV)

12 God’s Word is living and powerful. It is sharper than a sword that cuts both ways. It cuts straight into where the soul and spirit meet and it divides them. It cuts into the joints and bones. It tells what the heart is thinking about and what it wants to do.

1 Corinthians 14:24-25 (TLB)

24 But if you prophesy, preaching God’s Word, even though such preaching is mostly for believers,[a] and an unsaved person or a new Christian comes in who does not understand about these things, all these sermons will convince him of the fact that he is a sinner, and his conscience will be pricked by everything he hears. 25 As he listens, his secret thoughts will be laid bare, and he will fall down on his knees and worship God, declaring that God is really there among you.

6. POWERFUL.

John 14:12 (ERV)

12 “I can assure you that whoever believes in me will do the same things I have done. And they will do even greater things than I have done, because I am going to the Father.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (TLB)

20 Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of—infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes. 21 May he be given glory forever and ever through endless ages because of his master plan of salvation for the Church through Jesus Christ.
