3 big mistakes about Gods blessing…

  1. Some ignore Gods blessings.
  2. Some Apologize for Gods blessings.
  3. Some hoard God’s blessings.

We need to Acknowledge that….

Tithing is not giving.

Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say,
‘In what way have we robbed You?’
In tithes and offerings.

3 ways that you are blessed to be a blessing…

1. We are blessed to give Joyfully.

1 Corinthians 9:6-7 (ESV)

6 Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living? 7 Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

2. We are blessed to give abundantly.

Mark 14:3-6 (ESV)

Jesus Anointed at Bethany

3 And while he was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,[a] as he was reclining at table, a woman came with an alabaster flask of ointment of pure nard, very costly, and she broke the flask and poured it over his head. 4 There were some who said to themselves indignantly, “Why was the ointment wasted like that? 5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii[b] and given to the poor.” And they scolded her. 6 But Jesus said, “Leave her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a beautiful thing to me.

3. We are blessed to give Sacrificially.

Mark 12:43-44 (ESV)

43 And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. 44 For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”
